Designed as a meeting place between art, culture, and social ties, this center will offer a transdisciplinary and eclectic programming within a large-scale infrastructure. Open to all - cultural audiences, artists, students, inhabitants, culture professionals, and tourists -, this place is part of a participatory and inclusive approach. It's an ambitious adventure with a mission to strengthen the local cultural fabric while actively participating in the training of future generations, artistic growth, and the influence of Geneva. Concorde will open its doors in September 2026 in a 27,000 m² space spread over four buildings, including a significant cultural facility, a residential building, but also a 46-room hotel, a restaurant, a cafeteria, a take-away offer, as well as a bar and event activity. YOUR MISSION Within the Hotel & Restaurant pole of Concorde, you are the first point of contact for hotel customers, guaranteeing a warm and professional welcome and service throughout their stay. In addition to your reception duties, you occasionally reinforce the restaurant teams in the dining room and at the bar. The position is divided between a 3-star hotel with 46 rooms and 5 restaurant outlets: breakfast, restaurant, staff & student canteen, take-away, and show bar. Reception (main mission - around 80%) • Ensure the physical and telephone reception of customers with professionalism and conviviality • Manage check-in and check-out operations, as well as billing and payments • Process reservations and ensure their reliability and proper operational execution (PMS) • Inform customers about the hotel's services, restaurant, and Concorde's cultural programming • Manage delicate situations or complaints with discernment and orientation towards the right contact person if necessary • Ensure the administrative follow-up related to the reception (main desk, cash register, correspondence, etc.) Restaurant - dining room & bar (complementary mission - around 20%) • Participate in the service in the dining room (setup, welcome, order taking, service) during reinforcement shifts • Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, especially during show bar events • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide a friendly and quality service YOUR PROFILE Training & experience • Training in hospitality and restoration (CFC, hotel school, or equivalent recognized in Switzerland) or equivalent experience • Previous experience in hotel reception is desired • Complementary experience in restaurant or bar service is an appreciated asset Skills & qualities • Excellent sense of welcome and customer service • Assumed versatility: you thrive in moving from reception to the dining room or bar according to needs • Ability to manage priorities and remain calm in a dynamic environment • Rigor and sense of organization (cash register, reservations, administrative follow-up) • Mastery of a PMS tool (MEWS) is an asset • Fluent French is essential; a good level of English is required, and any other language is an asset CONDITIONS • Workplace: Vernier • Entry into function: September 2026 • Activity rate: 100% • Working hours: 40 hours per week • Availability for irregular schedules (evenings, weekends, holidays) according to the establishment's needs If you recognize yourself in this description, please send us your application file (CV, diplomas, work certificates) as well as a cover letter.
