Head of Reception & Reservation (80-100% | w/m/d)

These are your tasks

• You lead the reception & reservation team of 8- 10 employees
• You look after our guests personally and by telephone and recognize their individual wishes and needs
• You are responsible for the professional processing of reservations, guest correspondence and administrative tasks
• You process guest feedback and complaints in a solution-oriented manner
• You ensure a smooth process at the reception and ensure a warm guest service
• You perform further tasks - vouchers, kiosk and table reservations
• You continuously optimize existing processes and contribute your own ideas for improvement
• You coordinate important information between reception, management and other departments
• You plan and coordinate the shifts of the reception team and ensure optimal daily staffing
• You lead, support and motivate the front office team
• You ensure a correct daily and monthly closing as well as the billing
• You are responsible for employee leadership

This is what we want from you

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable function in the 4*-sector at a hotel reception
• You have a degree as Kauffrau/-mann EFZ HGT and ideally a degree from a Swiss hotel management school
• You have completed the vocational trainer course or are willing to do so
• You love guest contact, are communicative and always remain charming
• You have a high level of service awareness and are always ready to go the extra mile for our guests
• You know the region or are willing to acquire this knowledge independently
• You are reliable, extremely conscientious and enjoy working independently as well as in a team
• You speak German and English – further languages are a plus
• You are IT-savvy and are familiar with the most common hotel systems (Opera Cloud, Aleno, common Office programs)
