Head Barista - Zürich

You love coffee, hospitality and people who move things together. You want to take on responsibility and shape our espresso bars operationally. In this key role, you work closely with the other Head Baristi and Espresso Bar Management. With your team, you ensure directly at the counter that our espresso bars run smoothly - especially at our A-Locations - and that our guests have an outstanding experience every day. With your team, you rock the espresso bars directly at the front - especially at our A-Locations - and ensure together with all parties involved that our ViCAFEs run smoothly and the guests have an outstanding experience. Operational, approx. 80% Full presence at the counter and on the premises Ensuring product and service quality Leadership and motivation of the barista team in day-to-day business Scheduling in small scale: break coordination and sensible redistribution in case of failures Active upselling as well as additional sales services (coffee beans, tastings, etc.) Close, clear communication with Store Management & Location Leads Administrative tasks such as ordering, daily reports and more Collaboration in the Academy for internal training and external courses & events Close support of Store Management in guest contact and daily operations Responsibility in absence: if Store Management or Location Lead are not on site, you take over operational responsibility for the bar Leadership and Development Coaching, feedback and further development of baristi Building and maintaining a positive team culture Support with new locations and building a regular customer base Host with heart and professionalism High degree of self-responsibility, very good organization and hands-on mentality Distinct coffee passion and sales talent Experience in gastronomy Willingness and ability to continuously develop leadership skills Strong communication in an agile, diverse environment Flexible handling of different topics, with the company vision in mind Interest in the entire coffee value chain Fixed-term employment (between 80-100% workload selectable) Open, trusting culture and short distances 25 days of vacation per year at 100% workload Internal further training in the Academy 100% discount on coffee drinks 50% discount on coffee beans, baked goods, reusable cups and Vivi drinks Instead of a letter of motivation, we would like to get to know you personally.
