Sommelier

Double Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant, equipped with a green star and 17pts at Gault & Millau, recognized for its creative, sincere and deeply rooted in the terroir cuisine, Restaurant Gilles Varone is looking for a passionate sommelier to work in close collaboration with the sommelier team.

You will be a pillar of the customer experience in terms of wine and beverages:

• Actively participate in the development of food and wine pairings and non-alcoholic food pairings in collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine
• Advise customers with accuracy, pedagogy and elegance
• Ensure the service of wine and beverages during services
• Participate in cellar management (referencing, stock, receiving orders, storage)
• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the wine list

Your profile

• Training in sommelier studies or significant equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Swiss wines appreciated
• Experience in gastronomic catering
• Sense of service, team spirit and rigor
• Authentic, curious and passionate personality
• Mastery of French (English appreciated)
