Cook

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Cook (100%) starting 01. October (or by arrangement) in the Hortus Kitchen. Your tasks: • Independent daily planning and preparation of the vegetarian and vegan dishes for the lunch business and buffet • Independent planning and execution of mise en place work • Correct goods management • Set up lunch buffet and service of lunch menu • Professional advice for guests • Cleaning work in the kitchen and restaurant • Support with cross-station work such as dishwashing Your qualifications: • A completed apprenticeship as a Cook (EFZ), equivalent qualification or several years of work experience in the kitchen • Enthusiasm for plant-based cuisine and sustainable gastronomy • Joy in guest contact • Good German skills (C1), English is an advantage • Flexibility and resilience, even with a high workload • Quality awareness down to the detail and high personal standards for the work • High initiative and the ability to recognize work before it has to be mentioned • Organizational talent and the ability to set priorities correctly What we offer: • A modern, dynamic working environment with short decision-making paths • Employment conditions according to L-GAV • Day shifts without room hour including 45 Min. lunch break (exception: caterings and events) • Monday - Friday • 5 weeks vacation, 6 public holidays (incl. company holidays between Christmas and New Year as well as on the cantonal holidays of BL) • Discounts in our concepts and with our partners in Basel and Zürich Tell us why you want to become part of our team!
