Tasks Do you want to not only lead a production but also sustainably develop performance, quality, and cooperation together with your managers? In this responsible key position, you will actively help shape the bakery production at the Gossau location and make a significant contribution to a safe, efficient, and economical production. • The operational and personnel leadership of the entire bakery production with around 100 employees in three-shift operation is your responsibility. In doing so, you steer the organization specifically through your directly subordinate managers. • You keep quality, delivery capability, and profitability in view at all times and further develop production performance based on relevant key figures. • Together with your managers, you ensure stable and on-time production as well as demand-oriented personnel and vacation planning. • In close cooperation with the Technical Service, you ensure high plant availability and optimal use of the existing production capacities. • You reliably ensure compliance with specifications in the areas of occupational safety, hygiene, quality, and food safety, as well as the defined process and recipe requirements. • As a leader, you promote and develop your directly subordinate managers and drive continuous improvements with suitable Lean methods. • You participate actively in the HACCP team and in crisis management. In the event of absence, you represent the Bakery Management and take on responsibility in the management team of the Gossau location. Requirements • Several years of experience in industrial food production or in a comparable industrial production environment forms an important basis for this function. • In your previous career, you have already gained leadership experience and learned to effectively steer larger organizations via managers. • A clear, appreciative, and binding leadership style characterizes you. Even in demanding situations, you maintain an overview and provide orientation. • Technical understanding, high cognitive ability, and networked thinking help you to quickly recognize connections and make well-founded decisions. • With your structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as your organizational talent, you implement topics consistently and sustainably. • Proficient German skills in speaking and writing are required.
