To strengthen our management teams in our department stores in German-speaking Switzerland (regions of Zürich, Northwest Switzerland, Mittelland, and Eastern Switzerland), we are looking for committed Floor Managers 100% (m/f/d) immediately or by arrangement for our sales worlds Fashion (women's, men's, and children's fashion, lingerie, and accessories), Beauty (perfumery and cosmetics), as well as Hardgoods (living, household, and leisure). We are looking for inspiring, entrepreneurial-minded leaders with a passion for retail and a strong understanding of business metrics (KPIs). You know how to motivate your teams, promote talent, and achieve sustainable sales and company successes together. ##

Your responsibility

• You are the driving force of the sales activity on the floor: With your active presence, your service orientation, and your positive attitude, you make the difference.
• You promote omnichannel solutions by motivating your team to use digital tools in sales, such as Instore Ordering, to offer customers a modern and seamless shopping experience.
• You contribute actively to the acquisition and retention of new customers by implementing targeted and effective measures.
• You lead your team in everyday life, motivate the employees, and promote their further development with commitment and enthusiasm.
• You plan personnel deployment flexibly according to priorities and operational requirements and react confidently to unforeseen situations.
• You accompany apprentices with appreciation and consistency to promote their professional and personal development.
• You conduct employee and HR discussions (recruitment, development, assessment, and exit) professionally and with the necessary tact.
• You analyze the sales results (turnover, margins, KPIs) and derive concrete measures to increase performance.
• You are a true ambassador for an outstanding customer experience and ensure first-class service.
• You ensure optimal merchandise presentation on the sales floor and ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards.
• You ensure professional inventory management and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and legal requirements.

Your profile

• You have sound experience in retail, ideally in a premium or luxury environment.
• Ideally, you have training as a Berufsbildner/in (vocational trainer) and basic training in sales (EFZ or equivalent). This is a great advantage for the guidance and development of your team.
• You bring initial successful leadership experience and know the challenges of the retail business as well as the processes on the sales floor.
• You know how to meet the expectations of a demanding clientele with professionalism, style, and strong service orientation.
• You are solution-oriented, keep a cool head even in hectic situations, and know how to motivate your team.
• You handle digital tools confidently and are interested in technological solutions that make work easier and improve the customer experience.
• You have good to very good French skills in speaking and writing. Knowledge of another national language is an advantage.
