Senior Pharma Process Engineer / Expert: Aseptic Fill & Finish

For a technically demanding project in a pharmaceutical production environment, we are looking for experienced Process Engineers and Process Experts in the field of Aseptic Fill & Finish.

The focus of the position is on sterile and aseptic filling processes as well as practical work with a new production line. We are looking for specialists who do not just define and document processes, but also work directly with the equipment and support the project team on the shop floor.

Applications from qualified specialists from Switzerland as well as from EU and EFTA states are welcome. Very good English skills are required. German skills are an advantage, but not a requirement.

Presence: 4 to 5 days per week on-site
Home office: In the current project phase, no fixed home office day is possible

Your tasks

• Support in the implementation, qualification, and completion of a new aseptic pharmaceutical production line
• Practical work with filling equipment and isolator technology during qualification, plant ramp-up, and operational stabilization
• Support in commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
• Establishment, execution, and optimization of processes within sterile production
• Monitoring of manufacturing activities, including preparation, filling, in-process controls, and documentation
• Creation and revision of SOPs as well as electronic manufacturing instructions in the MES
• Investigation and processing of deviations, technical problems, and change requests
• Support with troubleshooting and root cause analysis directly at the equipment
• Continuous improvement of validated manufacturing processes and workflows
• Support during internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections
• Close cooperation with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, and other project participants

Your profile

• Degree, technical further education, or vocational training in the fields of Engineering, pharmaceutical technology, production technology, or a related specialist field
• Alternatively, comparable, sound professional experience in sterile pharmaceutical production
• Several years of experience in pharmaceutical production, in Process Engineering, in plant qualification, commissioning, or technical production support
• Practical experience in sterile production or in aseptic Fill & Finish
• Experience with vial, syringe, carpule, or other sterile filling equipment is an advantage
• Experience with isolators, RABS, or aseptic barrier systems is a major plus
• Practical experience with equipment implementation, qualification, start-up, troubleshooting, or process optimization
• Knowledge of SOPs, Batch Records, MES, Deviations, or Change Requests
• Strong technical understanding and willingness to work directly with the equipment
• Independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good English skills
• German skills are an advantage, but not required
• Willingness for a presence of four to five days per week on-site
• Citizenship of an EU or EFTA state or existing Swiss work permit
