What you can contribute

• Lead and assume responsibility for the school secretariat in the fields of administration, materials, and with an emphasis on the technical training of military office personnel
• Manage human resources for basic instruction services using the army personnel information system (PISA) and MIL Office
• Coordinate the school service personnel, from summoning to planning relief needs
• Manage troop accounting
• Manage office supplies, inventory and furniture, as well as the chancellery budget posts
• Archive personnel files and school documents according to applicable regulations

• CFC professional diploma, ideally in the role of commercial employee
• Experience and taste for administrative and organizational activities and interest in military questions and affairs
• Excellent service provider mentality with a good command of the written language, easy expression and active knowledge of a second official language
• Proficiency in information tools (MS Office) and knowledge of military computer systems (PISA, MIL Office)
• Military instruction necessary (qm, four U, ord bureau, comptable troupe)
• Willingness to perform sporadic and irregular working hours as well as occasional tasks outside the workplace

The Instruction Command (cdmt Instr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to training of officers for the militia and career soldiers, including general basic instruction. The cdmt Instr includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five application formations, the Army Instruction Center as well as the specialized service Women in the Army and diversity. One third of the approximately 2350 employees practice civilian professions in the scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting fields and contribute, along with career soldiers, to the success of the army.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
