Short & sweet Ristorante La Scala and Vinobar Il Sottoscala are located in Rapperswil on the beautiful quay of Lake Zurich. The small town is idyllic and the quality of life is unique. Mountains and the city are reachable in a short time. Our à la carte restaurant has 75 indoor seats as well as 60 terrace seats. The Vinobar offers 20 indoor seats and 45 terrace seats directly on the lakeside promenade. This is the meeting point for local as well as national and international guests. Our team stands for quality-oriented, Mediterranean cuisine and for a lived hospitality. Our goals are to pamper the guest and offer them a unique experience. Your profile: You already have several years of service experience as a Chef de Rang or similar and now want to start your new career chapter? Furthermore, you convince us with: • The ability to lead and motivate the service team, especially on weekends. • Strong organizational talent for the planning and execution of events and banquets. • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to respond to the needs of the guests. • Great willingness to act as a representative of the managing director and to take on responsibility. • Flexibility, especially on weekends and public holidays. • Initial experience in the execution of orders and daily inventories. • Fluent German skills, additional Italian skills are an advantage The following tasks await you: • Taking over tasks and decisions in the service area during the absence of the managing director. • Leading and motivating the service team • Planning and organization of processes in the restaurant • Ensuring a high service standard • Customer care and complaint management • Training/ induction of new employees • Monitoring service quality and constant improvement of guest satisfaction.
