Cook: (40-60%)

Our modern production kitchen, where we cook around 500 lunches and 500 dinners fresh for the Cantonal Social Service every day, is located in Zürich/Oerlikon. True to the ZFV philosophy, we cook fresh on site with regional, ecologically sensible and fairly traded food. Are you our new team member who will support us as a cook: immediately or by arrangement? We are looking for a total of 2 people, 1x in a 40% position as a helper and 1x in a 60% position. Working hours are between Monday and Sunday, usually from 07:00 to 18:30. A driver's license class B is mandatory for both positions! Your area of responsibility: --------------------- • Creation of Mise en Place • Cooking dishes according to recipes using the Cook and Chill method • Commissioning meals to distributed locations • Regenerating meals • Packing meals in thermoboxes • Assisting with catering, apéritifs and special events • Taking on the host role and being the first point of contact for the client at the locations • Receiving, deciding and implementing guest needs and wishes • Ensuring and maintaining guest and employee satisfaction • Ensuring the service process including working at the front • Receiving and managing goods and inventory • Punctual delivery of meals at lunch and dinner (for which a driver's license is mandatory) • Loading and unloading vehicles and securing cargo • Vehicle maintenance (cleaning vehicles, refueling, replenishing operating fluids, etc.) • Ensuring cleanliness and order at assigned post • Completing general cleaning and tidying work • Implementing ZFV quality and service standards as well as hygiene and occupational safety guidelines Your strengths: -------------- • Basic training as a cook: EFZ • Good spoken and written German skills • Driver's license class B mandatory • Enthusiastic foodie and connoisseur • Team player • Passion for the cooking profession and pleasure in guest contact • Clean and independent working method With us you will find: ------------------- • A good job • Dynamic work environment • Freedom for ideas and creativity • Development opportunities • Corporate culture characterized by responsibility and trust
