EDPR69 Prison Service (SPNE) \- Detention Detention officer \- kitchen workshop instructor (CDM until 30 September 2027) EDPR69 Prison Service (SPNE) \- La Promenade detention establishment (EDPR) A closed, high-security detention establishment, the EDPR is notably specialized in emergency reception, pre-trial detention, behavioral evolution research, and short-term preparation for release. It also focuses on intervention in complex situations or those involving psychiatric disorders. Your missions As a detention officer \- kitchen workshop instructor, you ensure the management of a professional kitchen and actively participate in meal production, in compliance with current quality standards, hygiene, and safety norms. Supplies, stocks, supplier monitoring, and compliance with the allocated budget are also part of your missions. On a daily basis, you provide and complete the training of detainees assigned to the kitchen workshop, accompany them in acquiring professional skills, and evaluate them throughout this process. This support is provided in compliance with current regulations and security measures in order to promote their responsibility, social development, as well as their reintegration. Responsible for the organization of work in the workshop, the distribution of tasks, and the monitoring of services, you also manage the hourly accounts of employed persons for the purpose of their remuneration. Finally, you ensure all your missions through network work with various internal and external partners. Depending on the needs of the entity, working hours may be irregular (night and weekend shifts) and you may be required to work in the cell sector. Your profile Holder of a CFC as a cook or an equivalent title, you are at least 25 years old and can demonstrate experience in the catering field. Possessing a good team spirit, empathy, and professional distance, you know how to demonstrate openness, listening skills, and discernment, including during conflicts. Your natural authority allows you to enforce rules while embodying a model of exemplarity. You have a good command of the French language and standard IT tools. Knowledge of foreign languages as well as excellent physical fitness represent assets (physical tests and a medical examination may be required as part of the recruitment). Prerequisites: domicile in Switzerland; category B driver's license; clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register. As part of your employment, you will follow the basic training leading to the federal certificate of detention officer at the Swiss Competence Center for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (CSCSP) in Fribourg; you will be sworn in.
