Ref. no.:  CH01370 Type of employment:  Full-time Type of contract:  Permanent contract WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • International coordination and strategic procurement of raw materials and packaging for several production sites • Targeted search, qualification and evaluation of suppliers, conducting audits and sustainable maintenance of global supplier relationships • Independent management of price and condition negotiations with national and international partners • Efficient processing of procurement processes, obtaining and comparing offers as well as final order release • Clarification of delivery deviations, quality defects and invoice discrepancies • Continuous monitoring of raw material markets, early detection of procurement risks and development of proactive counter-strategies • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (production, technology, QS) as well as coordination with the division and Group Purchasing • Concise preparation of key figures and well-founded decision-making bases for management using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)   WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING • Commercial training, further education in purchasing (federal certificate of proficiency) • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the chemical industry (chemical knowledge is a strong plus) • In-depth ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP) as well as skilled handling of MS Office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis) • Negotiation-secure German and good English skills (at least B2) • Negotiating skills, analytical thinking, pronounced communication strength and organizational talent • Willingness for occasional national and international business trips WHAT WE OFFER • A appreciative working environment with constructive feedback culture • Special payments such as a 13th monthly salary and 20 minutes paid break per day • Individual internal and external personnel development measures in cooperation with our Rheinmetall-Academy • Very good social benefits and a pension fund that exceeds the statutory requirements • Depending on age 5 - 6 weeks vacation • Participation in the company's success within the framework of the employee stock purchase program • Diverse discounts for employees (e.g. REKA checks) • A secure job in a future-oriented industry CONTACT DETAILS Responsible contact person: Christoph Badertscher For questions about your application, please use the contact form
