Secretary General Being the voice of the health-social successor generation in the canton of Vaud Aoris OrTra santé-social Vaud is the World of Work Organization for the health and social work sectors for the canton of Vaud. Born in June 2023 from the merger of the CiPS (Centre d'information des professions santé-social) and the OrTra santé-social Vaud, it federates about sixty members from employer associations, professional associations, and training organizations. Its missions are threefold: organizing inter-company courses for ASA, ASE, and ASSC professions while supporting employers, apprentices, and learners in their paths, promoting health-social professions to young people and adults, and informing about possibilities for professional reorientation and certification for adults. In view of the retirement of its Secretary General, engaged since the beginning of the association, the Aoris committee is putting up for tender the position of: Secretary General Reporting to the committee and its office, you will pilot the association and implement its strategy, in service of the quality of training and the successor generation in the health and social work fields in Vaud. You will lead a team of about twenty employees, relying on four pole managers in direct management. As the reference interlocutor for members, authorities, and institutional partners, you will carry the voice of Aoris with credibility, diplomacy, and a unifying spirit. At the head of a recognized and dynamic organization, you will accompany its consolidation: structuring without weighing down, anchoring a common culture, and ensuring the continuity of links established since its creation. Your main missions and responsibilities: Associative life and governance Organize and prepare the work of the committee, the office, the General Assembly, and the commissions, in compliance with the statutes Ensure a relationship of trust and regular information between the team and the association's bodies Federate members around a common mission and transversal values, while ensuring a balanced representation of the health and social work fields Strategy Participate in the development of the strategic axes for the coming years, implement them, and report to the committee Exercise active monitoring of evolutions in the legal framework, training ordinances, and public policies, and anticipate their effects for the association and its members Representation and partnership relations Sit on cantonal and federal bodies dealing with successors and training, in coherence with the lines of national umbrella organizations (notably FONDSSOCIAL, OdASanté and SAVOIRSOCIAL) Develop and maintain relations with authorities, funders, and partners of the Vaudois socio-sanitary network, with a real capacity for influential communication Pilotage of the association and team leadership Directly supervise the four pole managers, in a logic of delegation, empowerment, and skill development Ensure the proper deployment of the association's poles, in particular inter-company courses, communication, profession promotion, and services for adults Guarantee the coherence of thematic management between the different activity sectors and the proper organization of human resources Financial management Ensure the budgetary balance of the association and the correct use of subsidies, with full transparency with each funder Your profile: Tertiary level professional title (social sciences, politics, economy, law), completed by training in management Proven experience of at least 5 years in a team leadership and/or management function in an associative context Confirmed professional background in the health or social work fields Knowledge of the Swiss vocational training system and the functioning of Vaudois public institutions Writing ease in French and good understanding of German Excellent mastery of current IT and digital tools Your personal qualities: Relational intelligence, interpersonal skills, and great capacity for adaptation Political sense, diplomacy, and assertiveness respectful of interlocutors Capacity for anticipation, prioritization, and synthesis skills Collaborative, empowering, and solution-oriented management style Capacity to inspire, to value skills, and to instill confidence Ethics, rigor, and sense of responsibility We offer you: A leadership function at the heart of the challenges of succession and training in the Vaudois health and social work fields A privileged interface position between employers, training environments, and authorities, with influence at the cantonal and federal levels The opportunity to consolidate a dynamic association, recognized by its partners and carried by an engaged team, at the time of the development of its next strategic axes Real leadership autonomy, in a direct and trusting relationship with the committee and its president Attractive framework conditions, commensurate with the responsibilities, according to the CCT of the social sector, classes 30 to 32 Start date: 1st May 2027 or to be agreed Activity rate: 100 % Location: Lausanne, with representation activities in the canton and in Switzerland Information: Valeur Plus SA, Natacha Tasev, HR Consultant, tel.
