Assistant Maître d'hôtel Company description On behalf of our client, a reference hotel establishment in French-speaking Switzerland located in Yverdon, we are looking for an Assistant Maître d'Hôtel (M/F) Job description Reporting to the food and beverage manager, you will assist them in the operational management of the department and ensure their replacement during their absences. You will actively participate in the services of the restaurant, the bar, seminars as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner services. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, customer satisfaction, stock management, ordering, inventories as well as the monitoring of team schedules and clock-ins. You will also contribute to the supervision of a team composed of permanent staff and extras while participating in the continuous improvement of services. Profile sought We are looking for a professional with confirmed experience in high-level hotel or traditional catering, ideally in a supervisory role. Possessing an excellent sense of service, you are recognized for your natural leadership, your organizational skills and your interpersonal ease. You enjoy field work and know how to unite your teams around common objectives. Perfect mastery of French is indispensable while knowledge of English is an asset. Mastery of common IT tools and Mirus software is also appreciated.
