Chef de partie (m/f)

We are a family-run hotel & restaurant in the heart of Kandersteg. Our business is open all year round and welcomes guests in one of the most beautiful mountain regions in Switzerland. To strengthen our kitchen team of 4 to 7 employees, we are looking for an engaged and quality-conscious personality as a Chef de Partie (m/f/d) – 100 % per immediately or by arrangement. In this role, you will manage your kitchen station independently and support the team in ensuring smooth service. Together, we focus on fresh, seasonal cuisine with high-quality products and a lot of passion for gastronomy. Our high season is in summer and winter – during these times, holidays are only possible to a limited extent. Your tasks: • Independent management of a kitchen station • Preparation and creative plating of hot and cold dishes • Organization and preparation of the Mise en Place for lunch and dinner service • Participation in pre-production and goods management • Support of the kitchen team at all stations if required • Co-responsibility for compliance with our quality standards • Consistent implementation of HACCP hygiene guidelines • General cleaning and maintenance work What you bring with you: • Completed training as Koch / Köchin EFZ or a comparable qualification • Professional experience as Chef de Partie or several years of experience as Koch / Köchin • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working • Enjoyment of fresh cuisine and high-quality products • Team spirit, resilience, and flexibility • Quality and cost awareness • Good German and/or English skills What we offer you: • Year-round position with a workload of 100 % • Responsible and varied activity • Familiar working environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths • Independent work with room for initiative • Modern working conditions • Discounts in our second business in Faulensee • Flexible catering options • Staff accommodation subject to availability • Working in a unique mountain region with high recreational value Do you want to take on responsibility, bring your passion for cooking to a motivated team, and inspire guests with high-quality dishes?
