Decentralized Unit Secretary

Job description ##

As a decentralized unit secretary, you will participate in the smooth running of the Gymnase de Nyon and collaborate continuously with the teaching staff, students, and parents.

In this way, you contribute not only to administrative efficiency but also to the overall success of the educational mission entrusted to Vaudois post-obligatory education.

Responsibilities ##

• Collaborate in the daily management of the school establishment's secretariat, reception, telephone, and email
• Ensure the administrative management of a cohort of students from the École de Maturité, collaborate in the organization of exam sessions, and prepare the graduation ceremony
• Ensure the preparation of the elective courses brochure and administratively manage the related registrations, as well as manage absences for student leave during university visits
• Prepare all circulars inherent to school life and print identity cards
• Manage unsolicited offers, premises rental, duplicates, -

Fixed working days, Tuesdays and Fridays all day as well as a half day on Thursdays.

The communication of criminal records (clean criminal record) is required to perform the function.

Qualifications ##

• CFC as a commercial employee or an equivalent title
• Professional practice in a school secretariat, an asset
• Mastery of IT tools, in particular office software
• Sense of responsibility and public service ethics
• Ability to adapt and flexibility
• Self-control and stress management
• Spirit of mutual aid and collaboration
