In order to strengthen its Human Resources Directorate, the University of Geneva is recruiting for the position of: Deputy Director / Deputy Director of the Human Resources Division (100%) Directly reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you play a key role at the heart of the University's strategic challenges. You support the evolution of the HR function in a demanding environment, supporting the institution's ambitions in terms of governance, transformation, quality of services, and support for university entities. You contribute, alongside the Director of Human Resources, to making the HR division a strategic partner serving the development of the University. Your main responsibilities * Contribute to the definition, deployment, and evolution of the University's HR strategy, in close collaboration with the Director of Human Resources. * Guarantee the harmonization of HR practices and the compliance of processes with regard to the legal, regulatory, and institutional framework, while ensuring their continuous improvement. * Assume the role of HR business expert and process referent, particularly within the framework of the Human Resources Information System (SIRH) strategic program. * Provide high-level HR expertise to directorates and HR managers in handling complex, sensitive, or high-stakes situations. * Develop knowledge sharing, contribute to the management of HR performance, and participate in the identification, evaluation, and control of HR function risks. * Represent the Human Resources Directorate to university bodies and institutional partners, as well as ensure the substitution of the Director of Human Resources. In this context, the HR Division is looking for a personality capable of apprehending challenges in a global manner, endowed with a strong capacity for influence and conviction, wishing to commit their action for the long term: this function offers real potential for evolution. Your profile and your assets for succeeding in this function Holder of a university master's degree in the field of human resources or an equivalent training, completed by training in management or project management, you have at least five years of experience in a responsible HR function, which has allowed you to lead strategic projects and support organizational transformations. You possess excellent knowledge of the functioning of a public administration or a university institution as well as solid expertise in human resources management, HR governance, and project management. Recognized for your leadership, your capacity for analysis, and your sense of decision-making, you support diverse interlocutors with diplomacy and conviction. You demonstrate a high sense of ethics, confidentiality, and public service. Excellent writing skills as well as mastery of French and English (C1 level) are expected, good knowledge of German (B2 level).
