Sous Chef

As a supplement to our management team at tibits Basel Steinen, we are looking for an experienced Sous Chef (without split shift/part-time service) starting immediately or by arrangement.

You enjoy being responsible for several stovetops at once and love direct contact with the team and our guests at the buffet. You are a person who enjoys passing on your expertise as a Koch/Köchin EFZ, appreciates close exchange with the management, and pulls in the same direction together with them. If, in addition, you do not forget during your daily work that a healthy portion of humor and joy of life are important ingredients, then you are the right addition to our team.

In the first months, you will be introduced to our basics, products, and processes and will go through all employee levels up to Sous Chef.

Your buffet:
Personnel and professional leadership of the approx. 10 production employees together with the Küchenchef/Küchenchefin
Active cooperation in the kitchen
Deputizing for the Küchenchef/Küchenchefin during absences
Recruitment
Creating work schedules
Co-designing, consolidating, and implementing work flows and processes
Co-responsibility for the entire production process and goods management
Implementation of the specified production basics and co-responsibility for occupational safety in production
Compliance with the food and personnel cost targets as well as accounts payable control
Implementation of hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
Responsibility and conducting of the monthly inventory
