At La Montre Hermès, within the Commercial and Commercial Operations Department, the Commercial Coordinator ensures the daily follow-up of customers, including the management of shipments and returns, in compliance with the spirit of service and progress that Hermès intends to offer its customers.
He/she provides the customer with the right product, in the right place, at the right time, at the lowest cost and with the best quality, by providing a relevant and qualitative response to any request in a spirit of service and respect.
He/she develops his/her versatility to contribute to a reliable and flexible organization, while offering a good level of expertise, and takes on a role of representing the company to the customer.
Your main missions will be as follows:
The Commercial Coordinator manages daily contacts with customers by providing them with relevant solutions and information, and ensures complete administrative follow-up of customers in complementarity to the activity of the Market Managers.
Upon delegation from the latter and in agreement with them, he/she is proactive in proposing product alternatives.
He/she receives, checks, and records orders, verifies the availability of parts, and ensures the monitoring of deadlines.
He/she manages the preparation of shipments by coordinating with the shipping department, optimizes shipments by grouping goods in agreement with the markets, and prepares commercial and pro forma invoices for his/her customers, including those for complementary items.
He/she prepares all shipping and export documents, masters export formalities, specific documentation, various legalizations, and free trade agreements.
He/she reserves and organizes transport to the destination according to the customer's instructions, collaborates closely with the Import-Export team for CITES ordering and shipment planning, and ensures the follow-up of shipments to the destination.
He/she reports problems occurring during export and provides proposed solutions, organizes and ensures the filing of all shipments made, and retrieves the necessary customs papers for proof of export, ensuring their regular filing.
He/she checks, updates, and regularly sends portfolios to his/her customers, sends price lists upon delegation, and manages advance payment requests when so defined.
He/she follows up on customer payments and issues reminders if necessary, in agreement with the Market Manager, keeps his/her customer files, contact lists, and addresses up to date, and manages returns according to the written procedure.
Finally, he/she prepares his/her correspondence, ensures the sending of mailings, manages his/her filing and archiving of documents, and participates in working sessions with the markets.
Your profile:
You hold a CFC in Commercial Employee or equivalent, and can demonstrate successful previous experience in a similar position.
You are proficient in the Office environment as well as an ERP tool, and possess an excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
Endowed with a sharp sense of priorities and a strong sense of responsibility, you demonstrate rigor in the information provided as well as a constant concern for control and verification.
Autonomous and driven by a sense of collective interest for the company, you demonstrate commercial sensitivity and an ability to be proactive, as well as a strong sense of service.
Flexible and endowed with a great capacity for adaptation when faced with very diverse situations and issues, you demonstrate diplomacy, interpersonal ease, and good stress management.
