A traditional gastronomy business will open in the middle of Zurich's Old Town in spring 2027. A lively meeting point is to be created, where honest Swiss cuisine, seasonal specialties and carefully selected wines meet uncomplicated, personal hospitality. In addition to the restaurant and a cozy wine tavern, versatile rooms offer space for weddings, corporate events and private occasions with up to 200 guests. For this special place, we are looking for a hosting personality with sound wine knowledge, a good network and genuine joy in dealing with people. Someone who not only runs a business but is present, builds relationships and ensures with great warmth that guests feel welcome from the first moment and enjoy coming back.

Tasks & Challenges

• Overall responsibility for the operational and economic management of the restaurant, the wine tavern and the event area
• Active hosting role as well as personal care of guests, regular customers and business partners
• Building and maintaining a strong network in Zurich and the surrounding area
• Leadership, motivation and further development of the service team
• Participation in the establishment of the business and in the preparation of the grand opening
• Close cooperation with partners, suppliers and external service providers
• Ensuring a warm, personal and professional service experience
• Advising guests on wine selection as well as active further development of the wine selection
• Close cooperation with the kitchen and other internal contact persons
• Planning, organization and accompaniment of private celebrations, corporate events and larger occasions
• Control of relevant key figures as well as implementation of suitable measures to achieve the economic goals

Qualifications & Competencies

• Degree from a hotel management school or comparable training
• Several years of experience in a similar or identical function
• Experience in the restaurant, banquet and event sector
• Warm hosting personality, service-oriented
• Business administration knowledge, affinity for numbers
• Broad generalist know-how in gastronomy or hotel management
• Stylish, efficient administrative way of working
• Organizational talent, planning skills
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented, hands-on
• Winning, confident personality
