Sous Chef (100%)

What you will do:

• Support and deputy for the Head Chef in the daily tasks arising
• Co-management of the international kitchen team
• Preparation of meals according to the recipe and specification of the respective airline
• Responsibility for order and cleanliness in the work area
• Ensuring timely and proper order execution
• Documentation of cooked meals according to HACCP guidelines (CCP 1&2)
• Working according to HACCP guidelines (hygiene regulations)
• Participation in internal inventories
• Participation in internal as well as external customer presentations
• Assessment of the quality of raw/semi-finished products
• Expansion of the area of responsibility possible depending on experience

How you succeed:

• Completed vocational training as Koch / Köchin EFZ or at least 5 years of experience as a chef
• Professional and vocational experience from a production environment is an advantage
• Careful and cost-conscious handling of food
• Independent and clean way of working (working according to HACCP guidelines)
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
• Team player, reliable, motivated
• Good time management
• Flexibility as well as readiness for shift work as well as overtime in the high season
• Good communication skills as well as openness to new things
