Service Engineer Laser

Your tasks ###

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of laser texturing and cutting machines
• Execution of retrofits, upgrades, and machine conversions
• Identification and implementation of optimization opportunities in close collaboration with Development and 2nd Level Support
• Professional handling, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation of service cases
• Support in creating, reviewing, and improving technical documentation and process procedures
• Occasional assistance with trade fair setup and dismantling activities
• Ensuring full compliance with Advanced Manufacturing safety standards, including particle emissions, laser radiation, contamination control, gas handling, and explosion prevention
• Participation in additional functional responsibilities based on expertise and business requirements (e.g., internal training, quality initiatives, or special technical projects - approximately 10% of working time)

Your profile ###

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally with an additional qualification as a certified technician
• Several years of experience as a Service Technician for laser machines or comparable high-tech industrial equipment
• Strong customer-service orientation combined with an independent and structured work approach
• High willingness to travel (up to 90%) across Europe and Switzerland
• Good MS Office skills and strong IT knowledge in hardware and software environments
• Fluent English skills are mandatory, along with fluent German or French
• High commitment to providing excellent customer support and service quality
• Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented personality
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
