• 27 August 2026 • 80% • Indefinite duration • Baar Medical Governance Manager 80 % - 100 % Location: Baar (Zug, Switzerland) About the role ## We are looking for a Medical Governance Manager to join the Medical Governance team at AstraZeneca Switzerland. In this role, you will support the implementation of Medical Governance activities and act as a key contributor to the Designated Signatory and Medical Information functions. You will help ensure that promotional and non-promotional activities, scientific communications, events, and stakeholder interactions comply with internal policies, industry codes, and applicable regulations. You will work closely with colleagues from Medical Affairs, Compliance, Commercial, and other commercial functions to maintain high standards of scientific accuracy, ethics, and compliance. Your main responsibilities ## • Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for medical accuracy and compliance. • Support approval activities related to events, sponsorships, and donations. • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Medical Governance procedures, SOPs, and work instructions. • Provide compliance and governance training to employees and stakeholders. • Manage medical and scientific requests from internal and external stakeholders. • Research, evaluate, and communicate balanced, evidence-based medical information. • Maintain and document medical requests in the Global Medical Information Platform (GMIP). • Support Medical Affairs by providing scientific and medical information. • Develop and deliver training on AstraZeneca products, therapeutic areas, and pharmacology. Who you are ## Education ### • Degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, natural sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline. Experience & knowledge ### • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry. • Experience in Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or a similar function is highly desirable. • Knowledge of Swiss pharmaceutical regulations, industry codes, and healthcare compliance principles. • Understanding of applicable regulations and guidelines, including TPA, ICH, GCP, and Pharma Code. Skills ### • Great attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a regulated environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to analyze scientific information and clearly communicate complex topics. • Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset. • Good proficiency in digital tools and business systems and applications. Languages ### • Fluent German and English. • Good operational knowledge of French. • Italian is an asset.
