Independent and family-owned manufacturer, Singer & Cie SA has been manufacturing high-quality dials for the largest Swiss watchmaking brands for over a century.
To complement our teams, in our building in Boudry, we are looking for a:
Product Development Project Manager
YOUR MISSIONS:
In direct link with the Product Development Manager, you will manage new product development projects, coordinating the activities of the various internal departments (quality, methods, production, logistics, etc.).
As the main interlocutor for clients throughout development, you guarantee technical feasibility, quality compliance, and respect for deadlines.
You are also a driver in the continuous improvement of the development process, risk analysis, and the capitalization of lessons learned.
MAIN TASKS:
Project management:
Analyze customer needs and write specifications
Plan, organize, and monitor project progress
Coordinate internal and external teams
Monitor technical files (plans, tooling, control ranges, etc.)
Guarantee industrial feasibility and serial production transition
Communication & coordination:
Lead project meetings
Ensure fluid communication between stakeholders
Be the guarantor of information consistency throughout development
Continuous improvement & risk management:
Identify critical points and propose solutions
Implement corrective or preventive actions
Capitalize on lessons learned to improve practices
SEARCHED PROFILE:
Higher technical education (HES, engineer, ET technician)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the watchmaking field, ideally in the dial sector, with an excellent mastery of its technical, aesthetic, and industrial specificities.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality constraints
Mastery of project management tools and common software (Excel, Strategic, M-Files, Power BI…)
