Department Head of Kitchen in the Social Sector 60–100 % The Wohn- and Arbeitsintegration Westwind is a social institution that offers people with cognitive or mental disabilities living and working places. Together with this target group, we rock the daily work routine. Our centerpiece is the kitchen. Here, it's not just about cooking, but about working, learning, laughing, and conjuring up something fine together with people with a disability every noon. For this centerpiece, we are looking for a department head who keeps the shop together, leads the team, and lends a hand themselves. This is what you can expect: You lead your kitchen team of 1–2 cooks and ensure that everything runs smoothly in everyday life. In the morning, you stand at the stove yourself and, together with employees with a disability, conjure up the perfect lunch. In the afternoon, you make sure that the kitchen, dining hall, and sanitary facilities shine again. One day a week belongs to the office: orders, menu planning, invoices, personnel matters, projects, and meetings. You put pedagogical care processes into practice and have hygiene and quality standards under control. You exchange ideas closely with the other department heads. You have power, are independent, and have a thousand creative menus in your head. You know the hygiene regulations and live them, rather than just knowing them.
