Start of employment: 1. October 2026 or by arrangement for 12 months Work location: Bern Do you want to help shape cantonal jurisprudence and do you enjoy independent drafting of decisions? The Civil Chambers of the Obergericht handle appeals and complaints according to the ZPO (all legal areas). Your tasks As a court clerk of the two Civil Chambers, you will deal with legal questions from the full breadth of substantive and procedural civil law. You will analyze the contested decisions as well as the questions arising and independently create draft decisions in consultation with your supervisor. During the occasional superior-instance hearings, you will take minutes and subsequently edit the written considerations. In addition, you will also work for the Kindes- und Erwachsenenschutzgericht and potentially also for the supervisory authority in debt collection and bankruptcy matters.
