Spa Therapist (Praticien(ne) Spa / Thérapeute Spa) Department: Spa & Bien-être Reporting line: Property Manager Workplace: According to the needs of the company (Hotel, Residence, Chalet or Villa) Contract type: Seasonal CDD – Full time Job Mission The Spa Therapist is responsible for performing facial and body treatments, massages, and the various wellness rituals offered by the establishment. He/She guarantees an excellent relaxation and wellness experience, in accordance with the hotel's quality standards, while ensuring personalized welcome and attentive support for clients. He/She actively contributes to customer satisfaction and loyalty by offering professional, discreet, and personalized service. Main Responsibilities Customer Welcome and Relations Welcome clients with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion. Present the Spa facilities as well as the treatments offered. Conduct a preliminary consultation to identify needs, expectations, and potential contraindications. Advise clients on suitable treatments and products. Guarantee personalized support throughout the Spa experience. Performance of Treatments Perform massages in accordance with the establishment's protocols. Perform facial and body treatments. Perform scrubs, wraps, moisturizing treatments, and other wellness rituals. Adapt treatments to the specific needs of clients. Ensure the comfort and safety of clients throughout the entire duration of the treatment. Management of Cabins and Equipment Prepare the cabins before each treatment. Ensure the cleanliness, order, and hygiene of the workspaces. Check material and equipment daily. Manage linen, consumables, and treatment products. Report any anomaly or maintenance need. Sales and Advice Promote treatments and complementary services. Advise on cosmetic and wellness products. Participate in the development of the Spa's turnover through upselling. Inform clients of offers and loyalty programs. Quality and Compliance Respect the establishment's treatment protocols. Apply hygiene, safety, and disinfection standards. Guarantee the confidentiality of information concerning clients. Participate in maintaining the Spa's quality standards. Collaboration Participate in department meetings and briefings. Work in close collaboration with the Reception, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Catering teams. Contribute to a positive and professional working atmosphere. Technical Skills Excellent mastery of massage techniques. Mastery of facial and body treatments. Knowledge of cosmetic and wellness products. Good knowledge of hygiene and safety standards. Ability to adapt treatments to client needs. Mastery of Spa reservation software (an asset). Behavioral Skills Customer service orientation. Excellent presentation. Discretion and confidentiality. Additional training in massages (Swedish, relaxing, sports, hot stones, aromatherapy, etc.) appreciated. International certifications (CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ITEC or equivalent) are an asset. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a Spa, a 4 or 5-star hotel, or a high-end wellness center. Experience in a luxury environment strongly appreciated.
