Bildungszentrum Emme (bzemme) is a cantonal educational institution with locations in Burgdorf, Langnau i. E. and Oeschberg near Koppigen. Our range includes bridge offers, basic school education in various professional fields, a training workshop, and educational courses in higher vocational education. Around 250 teachers and employees are jointly committed to strong vocational training in the region. The Bridge Offers department supports the vocational preparation of young people with suitable offers and accompanies their professional integration. Tasks ###

• You lead the site and product managers as well as the teachers in terms of personnel and advise them professionally-pedagogically. - In cooperation with the site managers, you create the hourly planning as well as the workload planning of the teachers. - You are responsible for personnel planning, the recruitment and introduction of new teachers, as well as personnel development. - You ensure the teaching organization and quality as well as compliance with the applicable framework conditions. - You maintain contact with the learners, support the class teachers in demanding situations, and are responsible for the disciplinary procedure. - You continuously develop the offer and the teaching. - You maintain contact with educational/practice partners and are involved in cross-school committees. - You manage the budget, ensure continuous processes, and work closely with the "Zentrale Dienste" department on administration, personnel, finance, and infrastructure topics. - You represent the department in the school management, participate in school development, and are involved in projects and working groups. - You may, if necessary, take on teaching and/or substitute work to a small extent. Work locations: Burgdorf and Langnau, occasionally Oeschberg near Koppigen

Requirements ###

• You have completed a pedagogical training at the target level and have taught successfully for several years in bridge offers or at the secondary level II. - You have good knowledge of Transition I as well as experience in dealing with heterogeneity, migration, and multilingualism. - You bring a will to lead and shape as well as corresponding experience. Ideally, you have already completed a (school) leadership training. - You communicate openly and transparently and maintain a participatory style. - You create trust with a clear framework and appropriate scope for design. - You deal with diverse demands in a goal- and solution-oriented manner and enjoy working with different people. - You have ideas, are proactive, and want to make a difference together with your team. - You are flexible, strong organizationally and conceptually, and have business understanding. - You think and act in a networked manner and keep the "big picture" in mind. - You express yourself stylistically confidently in German and can also converse in French and English.
