Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionAt the Basel location, the Pharma Technical Development Synthetic Molecules (PTDC) area is responsible for the technical development of the Synthetic Molecules pipeline of Drug Substances (DS) and Drug Products (DP) for clinical studies. The Operations Support & Compliance (OSC) department is responsible for supporting all GMP- and non-GMP-relevant activities and enabling the development of synthetic and large molecules through high-quality support of our partners. As part of the OSC department, the Laboratory Support and Compliance area focuses on ensuring reliable support for the analytical laboratories and collaborating with many internal and external partners.The Opportunity:You design and maintain master data in SAP S/4HANA for laboratory equipment used in modern analytical laboratories (DS & DP).You act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the assigned laboratory equipment and organize qualification, regular maintenance and troubleshooting.You connect systems and interfaces and help to optimally network existing and new solutions with each other.You work closely with PTD teams in Basel and successfully integrate new processes and ways of working into everyday life.You write and update SOPs, harmonize processes and ensure that documentation is always GMP-compliant.You take over Changes, Deviations and CAPAs and ensure stable, GMP-compliant processes.You network with global stakeholders, promote knowledge exchange and contribute to projects and initiatives, incl. continuous improvements. Who you are:You have a completed scientific degree (ideally Bachelor or Master) with at least 3-5 years of professional experience or an equivalent qualification through relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the GMP environment of an analytical laboratory or QC.You work very carefully, structured and with quality awareness.You have a strong affinity for systems, databases and digitalization as well as experience in maintaining master data for laboratory equipment in SAP S/4HANA.You have a strong understanding of GMP, data integrity and ALCOA+.You are flexible, work independently, learn continuously and can set priorities; even in a demanding and dynamic environment.You are a team player with very good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with local and global stakeholders.You possess fluent German and English skills. Ready for the next step?
