To complement our team in Dübendorf, we are looking for a Sozialarbeiter*in to 100% ## Responsibilities ### • Responsibility for case management and advising asylum seekers and refugees. Conducting client interviews, initial counseling, assisting with everyday problems, resolving conflicts, mediating and arbitrating • Coordinating, clarifying, and referring to specialized agencies for issues outside one's own area of responsibility • Developing and implementing measures for social integration • Taking responsibility for the completeness and correct physical and electronic file management. Taking responsibility for correct data entry / mutation / case documentation • Supporting asylum seekers according to cantonal norms and internal guidelines. Calculating and paying out support services according to applicable norms and the subsidiarity principle. Creating and/or correcting quarterly invoices as well as maintaining accounting lists and tables • Creating rulings with legal remedies for integration measures. Checking the rulings prepared by the administration • Taking over monthly home visits (if relevant) • Ensuring communication with clients and other authorities. Collaborating with other internal departments Profile ### • Completed training in social pedagogy / social work (HF/FH) / diploma as an educator (HF/FH) / Bachelor in Psychology or Bachelor in Sociology • 0 to 1 year of relevant professional experience • Cooperation and team skills • Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people from different backgrounds • Ability to implement social interventions independently • Basic and user knowledge of MS-Office applications • Impeccable reputation (no entry in the debt collection and criminal records) • German | spoken: C1 | written: C1 • English | spoken: B2 | written: B2 • Another asylum-relevant language (advantageous) | spoken: B2 | written: B2 ## For the area of responsibility entrusted to you, you will work proactively and comprehensively.
