STRATEGIC PURCHASER SHEET METAL PROCESSING (M/F/D) – 100%
Location: Kreuzlingen

As a strategic purchaser, you will actively shape and control the long-term procurement strategy and the expansion of our worldwide supplier partnerships with us.

Your tasks
Strategy & Markets: Development and implementation of targeted product group and supplier strategies as well as worldwide analysis of the procurement markets.

Supplier Management: Active qualification, evaluation, and control of existing as well as new suppliers including risk management and audits (in cooperation with the SQM team).

Negotiation & Contracts: Conducting negotiations, ensuring the contractual basis, and realizing savings potential.

Projects & Interfaces: Close support of new developments as a competent contact person for technical and commercial issues.

Your profile
Education: Successfully completed technical and/or business administration training with corresponding further training in purchasing.

Experience: Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing – ideally with sound know-how in sheet metal processing and assembly procurement.

Competencies: Analytical thinking, strong negotiation skills, strong technical affinity, and a confident appearance in an international environment.

Languages: Business fluent German and English skills (spoken and written).

Systems: Routine handling of SAP ERP and MS-Office as well as willingness to travel for international business trips.
