Communication Specialist

Job Description ##

In your capacity as a communication specialist, you carry out information, public relations, and external communication actions for the Police cantonale vaudoise (PCV) and the Académie de police de Savatan (AP). You propose and manage high-value communication projects (recruitment campaigns, prevention, institutional image). You ensure media relations and judicial communication for the Police cantonale vaudoise.

Responsibilities ##

• Serve as the reference communication specialist for the Académie de Police de Savatan (AP);
• Carry out external information and public relations actions;
• Ensure media relations and judicial communication;
• Carry out internal communication and public relations actions;
• Lead communication projects and ensure their follow-up

Particular On-call Duties

• Likely to work regularly from the Savatan site (1 to 2 days per week);
• Assume press responder shifts, working outside regular hours, in the evening, at night, on weekends, and public holidays;
• May be engaged outside of shifts, notably within the ORCA (Organisation Catastrophes) communication cell.

Qualifications ##

• Hold a university Master's degree useful for the function or a license in literature or related to communication, journalism, etc. and/or higher education related to communication and public relations, certified communication specialist (SPRI, SAWI, etc.);
• Perfect mastery of written and spoken French;
• Mastery of IT, office, and Internet tools;
• Swiss or holder of a permit C;
• Able to work under time constraints;
• Ability to integrate into a small work team;
• Ease of expressing oneself in public and before the media;
• Professional experience in corporate or institutional communication;
• Good knowledge of German and English is welcome;
• Make one's private vehicle available to the service and receive the indemnity provided by the LPers technical directive.
