Head of Transitional Housing, 80 %

For our Transitional Housing department, we are looking for a committed and experienced leader as of 01.12.2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You assume overall professional, personnel, and financial responsibility for the Transitional Housing department and further develop the diverse offerings together with your team.
• You ensure a high quality of services and are responsible for the areas of security, organization, as well as the sustainable and efficient use of existing resources.
• You initiate, lead, and accompany projects within the department and actively contribute your expertise to cross-departmental projects within the business unit.
• You represent the department competently towards internal and external partners, maintain existing networks, and continuously expand sustainable relationships in the social space.
• As a member of the divisional management committee, you actively help shape the strategic and professional direction of the business unit and make an important contribution to the further development of the business unit.

Profile ##

• Degree at university of applied sciences or university level in the social field, as well as leadership training and knowledge/experience in the field of psychiatry are an advantage
• Leadership experience and enthusiasm for the development of employees, existing offerings, and the entire organization
• Experience in project management and the design of change processes
• Analysis of complex situations as well as making sound and comprehensible decisions
• Appreciative and clear communication towards different stakeholder groups
• Networked thinking and acting to promote cooperation across departmental and divisional boundaries
• Understanding of social and political contexts and their impact on the strategic development of the offerings

As Head of Department, you bear the overall professional, personnel, organizational, and financial responsibility for the department. You lead and develop the employees and ensure, together with them, that our offerings are professionally convincing, function well, and are oriented towards the needs of people.
