Business Analyst - Banking (Focus Cards & Payment Transactions) 100% (a), Zürich

What you will move at our clients

• Specification & Requirements: You analyze complex functional requirements in the area of cards & payment transactions (debit, credit, prepaid cards as well as mobile payment) and translate these into precise, actionable concepts together with the banks' specialist departments.
• Process Modeling: You model, check and document end-to-end business processes around card issuance (Issuing), card acceptance (Acquiring), card management and clearing/settlement according to BPMN
• Workshop Moderation & Conception: You plan and lead structured specialist workshops, create viable functional concepts (UML, Use Cases, process diagrams) and bring together managers and subject matter experts in a goal-oriented manner.
• Interface Key Role: You act as a central bridge between the business unit, IT, core banking system providers as well as external card processors / Payment Service Providers (PSP) - always communicative, connecting and solution-oriented.
• Testing & Release Support: You define test cases for card-relevant systems, perform error and deviation analyses, accompany the User Acceptance Test (UAT) as well as user training.
• Functional Consulting: You competently advise internal and external contact persons on questions regarding card processes, fraud prevention/fraud management, tokenization and new payment standards.

What our clients want from you

• Education: Completed studies in business informatics, informatics, business administration (or a comparable qualification with a strong IT/banking connection).
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer in the financial environment, preferably in consulting, at a Payment Service Provider or in a Swiss bank with a clear focus on the card and payment transaction business.
• Industry & Functional Knowledge: Sound knowledge in the area of card systems (Debit/ Mastercard, Visa, EC/ Girocard), tokenization (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Swatch Pay), ISO 20022 as well as common issuing/acquiring processes, knowledge of Swiss core banking systems (Finnova, Avaloq etc.) as well as experience with interfaces to card processors (Worldline, Viseca etc.).
• Methodological Competence: Strong analytical skills, strong conceptual understanding as well as experience with common methods (BPMN, UML, agile Requirements Engineering).
• Personality: Communicative, independent and assertive personality with a networked way of thinking, high customer orientation and enjoyment of working at interfaces.
• Languages & Mobility: Business fluent German as well as occasional flexibility for national travel activities for customer projects.
