To strengthen our team in the Manufacturing and Process Technology (MPT) area within Technical Operations (TechOps), we are seeking a committed individual as an Expert Process Specialist Manufacturing and Process Technology (Expert Process Specialist MPT BSF).   Your tasks   • Support the Head MPT BSF in building a local MPT team in BSF within the global MPT organization • Participate in the development of MPT business processes as part of site development • Collaborate on the establishment and continuous improvement of (MPT) processes, standards, and KPIs • Report to Head MPT BSF and work closely with Head of TechOps Site Development BSF, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing • Develop User Requirements together with the future operator and ensure their correct and GMP-compliant implementation in all design phases of the project, with a focus on Downstream and Dispensation • Create, review, and/or revise POLs (Policies), SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures), and WOIs (Work Instructions) • Provide technical support for the planning and implementation of cleaning validations • Serve as a contact person/SME for Manufacturing and Materials Management for process-related questions, deviations, and implementation of CAPA measures • Support audits on MPT-specific topics, such as qualification, validation, and/or documentation • Contribute to strengthening the GMP and HSE culture in the team and production environment   Your profile   • Completed degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable field • Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, ideally peptide synthesis as well as API purification and isolation • Very good knowledge of process engineering and plant planning as well as regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH Q7, FDA, EMA) • Enthusiasm for working on a project to establish a new site • Structured, precise, and quality-conscious work with high demands on documentation and compliance • Independent and solution-oriented work as well as the ability to develop pragmatic solutions in complex or unclear situations   Our offer:  • A dynamic and rapidly growing work environment with opportunities for internal development • Flexible working hours, including home office days and the possibility of obtaining additional vacation days through reduced working hours • Employee development through numerous internal and external training opportunities • Bachem covers 60% of pension fund contributions; additionally, there is the possibility of a retirement plan beyond the statutory pension insurance with our Pension Plan Plus • Access to a platform for employee discounts with discounts from external partners   Do you want to drive innovations forward with us?
