Team Leader IT

As Team Leader IT, you are responsible for the reliable operation, security, and further development of the IT environment of ESB. You contribute to further developing our operating model towards a hybrid, standardized, and service-oriented organization, in close cooperation with the internal teams and our external partners.

This is your job

• Leadership and further development of the IT team as well as ensuring an efficient and service-oriented organization.
• Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure, systems, and IT services.
• Responsibility for the Business Applications as well as coordination of the IT Product Owners and the responsible partners.
• Management of IT service providers, contracts, and budgets, taking quality and costs into account.
• Steering of IT projects and further developments from conception to transition into operations.
• Ensuring IT governance, business continuity, and further development of the IT environment in cooperation with the functions for security, data, and IT strategy.

What you bring with you

• Completed education in the field of computer science or business informatics or a comparable higher vocational training, ideally supplemented by further training in IT Service Management, Governance, or Project Management.
• Several years of experience in a responsible IT operations or IT management function, ideally in a complex or regulated organization, as well as experience in leading employees.
• Proven experience in the management of outsourcing and managed service partners, contracts, SLAs, IT budgets, and projects.
• Sound knowledge of IT operations, hybrid infrastructures, Microsoft 365/Azure, networks, Identity & Access Management, backup, cyber-security, and business applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills as well as an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. An ITIL certification is an advantage.
• German or French as a main language, with good knowledge of the respective other language and good technical English skills.
