Located in the heart of Appenzell, a young and dynamic team works in close collaboration. The large cheese counter and the Breitenmoser Appenzeller Fleischspezialitäten AG integrated into the SPAR Frischmarkt with more than seven employees and two apprentices complete the team in the lower part of Appenzell. Food retail specialists sell various fresh products such as fruit, vegetables and cheese. But also bakery products, confectionery, meat, frozen products, canned goods, delicacies as well as beverages. Composing the assortment: #### • * Presenting products in the sales area and in the display window in a customer-oriented manner • * Ordering goods from the supplier or manufacturer, checking the receipt of goods and storing them correctly • * Making fresh products available in sufficient quantities and at the right time in the store • Serving customers: #### • * Informing customers about shelf life, nutrient content and food composition • * Informing customers about new developments in the food field • * Giving advice for dish preparation on request • * Cutting, portioning and packaging goods on request • * Processing payments • * Receiving complaints and proposing solutions • Administrative tasks: #### • * Labeling items with the correct prices • * Monitoring food expiration dates • Strengths ## The choice of the strength is made at the beginning of the basic training according to the orientation of the company. The training in the chosen strength takes place in the 3rd year of the basic vocational training.
