Junior Client Data & Documentation Officer - 12 month mission at 100 %

On behalf of our client, a private bank based in Genève, we are looking for a Junior Client Data & Documentation Officer for a 12 month mission at 100 %. This mission could be extended according to the needs of the organization.

You will join a team responsible for client data and documentation management, as well as Client Register activities.

You will contribute to the reliability of information recorded in the bank's systems, the codification of documents, and the control of client files. You will also participate in verifications prior to the validation of payments and the preparation of documents and reports intended for clients and internal teams.

This opportunity is intended for a junior profile wishing to develop operational skills in private banking while contributing to continuous improvement, digitalization, and automation initiatives.

Main missions

Client data and documentation management

• Receive, verify, categorize, and codify client documents in the bank's systems.
• Ensure the indexing of documents and their attachment to the correct client, account, or file.
• Enter and update client data based on supporting documents and validated instructions.
• Control the completeness of files and the consistency between recorded data and received documentation.
• Identify missing documents, duplicates, and anomalies, and ensure follow-up with the relevant teams.

Operational controls and Client Register support

• Analyze and control client account structures as part of the verifications prior to payment authorization.
• Verify the validity of signatures, signing powers, and the documentary compliance of payment instructions, according to current procedures.
• Apply internal procedures and planned controls, reporting discrepancies to the competent interlocutors.
• Prepare and make available the contractual documents and financial reports necessary for client visits.
• Produce, using the bank's tools, personalized financial reports at the request of managers and clients.
• Respond to requests from various business lines concerning client data, documentation, and Client Register activities.

Quality and process improvement

• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and traceability of processing, while respecting deadlines and confidentiality rules.
• Manage requests according to operational priorities and report situations requiring intervention.
• Participate in improving data reliability, standardizing working methods, and updating procedures.
• Contribute to digitalization, automation, and activity optimization projects, notably in testing tool evolutions.

Profile sought

• CFC, Bachelor, or Master's degree, ideally in the fields of banking, finance, economics, management, or information systems.
• First professional experience or internship in a banking, financial, or administrative environment; experience in private banking or document management is an asset.
• Strong motivation to develop skills in banking operations and client data management.
• Excellent learning ability, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in an environment subject to short deadlines.
• Discretion and strict respect for information confidentiality.
• Team spirit, sense of service, and ease in exchanges with different interlocutors.
• Curiosity and interest in process improvement, digitalization, and new technologies.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Avaloq is an asset.
• Knowledge of or interest in Python, SQL, low-code solutions, or artificial intelligence technologies is an advantage.
• Fluent command of French and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an asset.
