You will take on a central role in the further development of our functional target architecture and ensure that it is thought out across departments, coordinated, and consistently aligned with a common target image - particularly in the context of the introduction of our new insurance core system. In doing so, you combine strategy, business capabilities, processes, data, and applications into an integrated overall view and create the basis for sound functional decisions. In close cooperation with business units, business application owners, enterprise architects, IT, and other stakeholders, you ensure that connections, dependencies, and integration requirements are recognized early and considered sustainably. What you can achieve • You are responsible for the development and continuous further development of the functional target image of the business architecture • You analyze, structure, and design end-to-end business processes across functional areas, value chains, and system boundaries and create transparency regarding connections and interactions • You ensure functional consistency between business capabilities, processes, data flows, requirements, and the overarching target architecture and bring different perspectives together for viable solutions • You identify and evaluate dependencies, interfaces, integration requirements, and target conflicts between areas and support strategically important architecture decisions with your expertise • You translate strategic specifications and functional requirements into guidelines and decision-making bases and act as a competent contact person for functional areas, management, and project teams What you bring with you • Several years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or a comparable role within transformation and change programs • Sound knowledge in the modeling of business capabilities, end-to-end processes, value streams, and information flows, as well as experience with common methods and standards such as BPMN or ArchiMate • Experience in complex system implementations, core system replacements, or large transformation projects - ideally in the insurance environment • Strong consulting, communication, and moderation skills as well as the ability to prepare complex issues understandably, make target conflicts visible, and convince different stakeholders at all levels • The willingness and ability to use modern AI-supported tools (e.g., Copilot or ChatGPT) profitably in everyday work. • Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing Do you have questions about the position?
