Senior Solution Architect Production Optimization

Your tasks

Define target architecture for MES, APS, sorting system, ERP, visualization and PLC
Clarify responsibilities between ERP, MES, machine level and user interface
Technically structure local sorting system optimization and global MES/APS optimization
Define data model for orders, stocks, machine states, feedbacks and production events
Specify interfaces to ERP, MES, AKL, HRL, sorting system, palletizer and other systems
Translate requirements from production, planning, IT and automation into technical specifications
Coordinate optimization specialists and machine integrators
Define MVP/pilot scope and prepare go-live
Create test, simulation and acceptance concept

Must-have

Experience with MES, APS, production IT or manufacturing software
Experience in software architecture and system integration
Understanding of production planning, machine allocation, material flow and bottleneck management
Experience with interfaces, APIs, databases and industrial data models
Understanding of mathematical optimization: constraints, objective function, scheduling, solver
Ability to speak with production, IT, automation, suppliers and management
Experience in the introduction of production-critical software

Nice-to-have

Experience with food production, packaging plants or sorting systems
Experience with ERP/MES/PLC architectures
Experience with Gurobi, OR-Tools, CP-SAT, MILP or APS systems
Experience with SCADA/visualization
Experience with simulation or Digital Twin
