Indian Specialty Chef (m/f/d) - Badrutt-s Palace Hotel

What you will achieve with us • You prepare authentic Indian dishes such as butter chicken, biriyani, samosas for à la carte dining and room service with passion and expertise. • You develop and present new dishes to enrich the menu. • Quality assurance and compliance with hygiene regulations in the kitchen are among your main tasks. • You work closely with the kitchen team and ensure a smooth process. • The training and further education of the kitchen team in the art of Indian cuisine is your responsibility. • You monitor inventory management and assist with the ordering of ingredients and cooking utensils. Your profile ##### • Completed training as a chef. • At least 8 years of professional experience as a specialty chef for Indian cuisine, preferably in an upscale restaurant or in 5* hospitality. • Creativity and passion for developing new recipes, profound knowledge of various techniques and traditions. • Teamwork skills and experience in direct customer contact. • A high degree of reliability, initiative and sense of responsibility. • Good English skills, additional language skills are an advantage. • Resilience and flexibility, especially in stressful situations.
