Gastronomie Wagi S in Schlieren provides culinary dishes to up to 400 guests daily. The operation includes the self-service restaurant <<Speis & Trank>> with 200 seats, the <<Momento - Caffé & Lounge>> as well as the garden terrace with 50 seats each. The offering ranges from break catering to sandwiches, snacks and a self-service buffet. True to the ZFV philosophy, cooking is done fresh on-site with regional as well as ecologically sensible produced and fair trade foodstuffs. Are you our new team member who will support us as a Cook: (temporary) immediately or by arrangement? You will work temporarily for 3 months at a 100% workload from Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 17:00 or from 11:00 to 20:00. For special evening events, you are available flexibly. Your area of responsibility: --------------------- • Preparation of mise en place at the assigned station • Production of dishes at the assigned station (entremetier, gardemanger, saucier etc.) • Ensuring replenishment of the menu lines • Regeneration / plating of the menus during lunch service • Collaboration in caterings, apéros and special events • Goods receipt and management of the warehouse • Contributing ideas for menu design • Ensuring cleanliness and order at the assigned station • Carrying out general tidying and cleaning work • Implementation of ZFV quality and service standards • Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety guidelines Your strengths: -------------- • Basic training as Cook: EFZ • Experience in vegan cuisine is an advantage • Experience in dealing with apprentices is an advantage • Good oral and written German skills • Enthusiastic <<Foodie>> and connoisseur • Team player • Passion for the cooking profession and joy in guest contact • Clean and independent way of working With us you will find: ------------------- • A good job • Dynamic working environment • Freedom for ideas and creativity • Scope for development • Corporate culture characterized by responsibility and trust
