Business Information Technologist Professional (1252) Bern, Schweiz (und Homeoffice) | 80-100% This is the contribution you can make Technical responsibility (topic ownership) for the New Production Model (NPM) within the Defence Platform main department Advising and supporting Product Owners, Product Managers, and other stakeholders on issues regarding cost accounting and billing of IT and Business-IT services in the ITSM Suite Ensuring the consistency, quality, and completeness of NPM-relevant data in the Service Catalogue as well as coordinating continuous data maintenance Carrying out quality audits, identifying optimization potential, and accompanying the cleaning of data sets Contributing technical expertise to the further development of the ITSM Suite ServiceNow as well as formulating requirements for new functionalities in the area of Discovery What makes you unique Degree as a Business Information Technologist EFZ, higher vocational training, or a university degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in IT Service Management, preferably in a complex IT organization or an enterprise environment, as well as sound knowledge in Service Catalogue Management, IT Financial Management, as well as cost accounting and service billing Very good knowledge of ITSM frameworks, especially ITIL® 4, as well as experience in the definition, introduction, and continuous further development of ITSM processes Experience in process management as well as in the analysis, optimization, and documentation of business and service processes Knowledge of agile working methods such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe is an advantage Analytical and conceptual way of thinking, strong quality awareness, and the ability to manage technical topics independently and to advise different stakeholder groups in a targeted manner Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams as well as audience-oriented and convincing communication Good active knowledge of an official language and passive knowledge of a second official language; good English skills In a nutshell As part of the Operatives IT Service Management team, you are the central contact person for the New Production Model (NPM) within the Defence Platform main department and ensure that the data required for IT cost accounting and service billing are complete, consistent, and of high quality. Together with Product Owners, Product Managers, and other stakeholders, you continuously develop our service management processes and the ITSM Suite ServiceNow and thereby make a significant contribution to transparent, economical, and customer-oriented service delivery.
