In our E-Commerce Fulfillment Center, we ship tens of thousands of packages daily. In the Quality Team, you optimize shipping processes and develop standards for packaging and delivery quality. Using KPIs and data analysis, you increase efficiency and reduce errors. Use your outbound experience from E-Commerce or Retail Logistics to strengthen our shipping quality. Senior Quality Engineer Outbound Operations (w/m/d) Your tasks Use dashboards and KPIs to identify trends in shipping errors, transport damage, incorrect deliveries and packaging problems and make informed decisions for process improvement Perform root cause analyses for quality problems in outbound (e.g., packaging errors, damage during shipping, pick errors), derive corrective and preventive measures and accompany their implementation to reduce returns and costs of poor quality (COPQ) Plan and lead projects to optimize picking, packing and shipping processes as well as apply quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, CAPA or Gemba Walks to measurably reduce error rates Work together with Outbound Operations, Process Engineering, Software Engineers and transport service providers to optimize end-to-end shipping processes, accompany automation and build scalable quality mechanisms Your skills Completed studies in engineering, logistics, supply chain management or comparable as well as several years of experience in quality management specifically in the outbound area (goods issue, shipping operations, picking & packing) of E-Commerce, Retail Distribution or high-volume fulfillment centers Sound knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methods, ideally with Green Belt or Black Belt certification, combined with strong analytical skills and confident handling of SQL, Excel and PowerBI to analyze shipping processes, error rates and transport damage Proven success in reducing shipping errors, packaging damage or incorrect deliveries in high-volume logistics environments, as well as familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), automation or initial approaches in the field of machine learning for quality control Very good German skills, clear communication skills, high initiative and the ability to convince stakeholders in the fast-paced warehouse environment, to pragmatically accompany change processes and to sustainably anchor improvements in everyday operations Be resilient in changing times and with high throughput, tackle changes positively, independently recognize potential for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity, delivery quality and customer satisfaction Why do you start with us?
