It conducts and coordinates the communication of the Federal Council and develops political planning for the government. It organizes in-person events of the Federal Council and supports the Federal Presidency. Furthermore, the Federal Chancellery organizes votes and elections at the federal level. It is the contact point for initiative or referendum committees and checks the validity of popular initiatives. In addition, the Federal Chancellery supports and coordinates the digital transformation of the Federal Administration.
