Deputy Head of Residential Area The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates one hospital and one affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees provide elderly people with a regionally unique comprehensive care service, ranging from acute medicine to rehabilitation and transition and long-term care. Together, you continuously develop your residential area over two floors, both professionally, organizationally, and culturally. You lead where relationships are formed - with our residents and in daily interaction with your team. Your leadership role is characterized by presence, role model, and cooperation. Deputy Head of Residential Area 80% Your tasks You lead your team with presence, heart, and professional competence - not just from the office, but in the midst of care everyday life. You support the Head of Residential Area in personnel, organizational, and professional matters. You take on responsibility in direct care and contribute daily to the quality of life of our residents. You promote employees individually and accompany them in their professional and personal development. You coach FaGe learners and HF students and create learning moments that are remembered. You question processes, bring in ideas, and work actively in projects and quality management. You help shape our transformation, think of care in a new way, and inspire others to make changes. You strengthen an open, appreciative, and trusting team culture. Your profile You have a degree as a Dipl. nursing professional (DNII, HF, FH) and ideally experience in long-term care. You have already gained leadership experience and ideally completed a leadership further education or are willing to do so. You work in a solution-oriented way, take initiative, and like to bring in new ideas. Changes motivate you - you take action instead of waiting. You communicate openly, empathetically, and at eye level. Even in demanding situations, you keep an overview and act prudently. Very good German language skills and pleasure in working with digital tools. RAI knowledge is an advantage, but not a must.
