Requirements

• Professional experience in the field of logistics, event, catering, gastronomy or a comparable environment
• Good organizational skills and strong practical understanding
• Independent and reliable way of working
• Good communication and manners
• Resilience and flexibility with changing requirements
• Physical resilience
• Willingness to work irregular hours as well as shifts in the evenings and on weekends
• Driving license category B is an advantage
• Good German skills

Job Objective & Tasks

Job Objective:

The Logistiker/in Event & Catering L1 ensures smooth goods, material and delivery logistics within the framework of caterings and events.

The focus of the function is on the preparation of events, goods receipt, internal logistics as well as cooperation with the kitchen. At the same time, the function supports the setup and dismantling as well as the implementation of events and can take over all tasks in the logistics area if required.

Main Tasks

• Receipt and control of food and non-food goods, material and deliveries
• Coordination and accompaniment of deliveries and collections for guests
• Control of delivered goods for completeness and correct assignment
• Transport and professional storage of goods and material
• Provision of goods and material for kitchen, service and events
• Internal transports between kitchen, warehouse and event locations
• Preparation of material according to event documentation
• Provision of crockery, glasses, cutlery, tablecloths and other required material
• Support with the setup of the banquet rooms
• Ensuring that required material is ready on time and in full
• Support with short-term changes and additional logistical requirements
• Close cooperation and coordination with the kitchen
• Provision and storage of kitchen and catering material
• Coordination of goods flows between kitchen, warehouse and event locations
• Support for the event management and the service team with logistical tasks
• Support with the setup and dismantling of events
• Transport and provision of furniture and event material
• Support with the return and storage of material after events

• Ensuring timely and reliable provision of goods and material
• Careful handling of goods, material and operating equipment
• Ensuring order and overview in the assigned storage and logistics areas
• Early reporting of missing, damaged or non-existent material
• Compliance with operational safety, hygiene and logistics specifications
