Your mission

  • Accompany beneficiaries of Hospice général housed within emergency and temporary accommodation in their search for permanent housing;
  • Strengthen housing expertise within the institution by developing partnerships with housing and accommodation stakeholders;
  • Ensure monitoring of existing systems and propose accommodation solutions adapted to the needs of beneficiaries.

Your main activities

  • You are a preferred internal contact for all issues related to housing or emergency or temporary accommodation (telephone service and in the HG units);
  • You are a resource person and expert in matters of housing and accommodation and you keep yourself informed of developments and needs regarding accommodation. You are a referent for both partners and employees of the institution;
  • You set up and lead information sessions, help desks, and workshops related to the search for housing for Hospice général employees, partners, or at the Bureau d'information sociale;
  • You carry out social support related to housing for people in accommodation or precarious housing in collaboration with the referring social workers, with the objective that they access sustainable housing or an accommodation solution adapted to their needs;
  • You support the referring social workers by promoting and disseminating best practices in the field of accommodation and housing;
  • You ensure a role of mediator and facilitator of exchanges with partners and the referring social workers and/or beneficiaries to create an environment of collaboration and mutual aid;
