Our client is a well-established Swiss banking institution seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Change Manager to lead and coordinate a portfolio of strategic regulatory, governance, and transformation initiatives.
Job Description ##
Regulatory Change & Programme Leadership
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of regulatory, governance, and business transformation initiatives across the Bank.
- Maintain a consolidated view of ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring clear prioritisation of resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Drive the successful delivery of regulatory programmes, ensuring solutions are sustainable, practical, and aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define priorities, manage interdependencies, and mitigate implementation risks.
Governance & Oversight
- Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks and reporting standards.
- Ensure consistent project tracking through clear KPIs, milestones, risk indicators, and governance metrics.
- Challenge and support project teams to ensure quality execution and successful delivery.
- Monitor project health and proactively identify emerging risks, proposing corrective actions where required.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, Executive Committee, and senior management.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Business teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Facilitate steering committees, working groups, and decision-making forums.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, providing clear visibility on progress, risks, budgets, and recommended actions.
Change Management
- Promote best practices in project and change management across the organization.
- Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of strategic regulatory changes impacting operational processes, controls, governance, and technology.
The Successful Applicant ##
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience within banking, financial services, or a regulated financial institution.
- Proven track record delivering complex regulatory, compliance, remediation, or transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, governance frameworks, and regulatory change management.
- Experience interacting with senior management, executive committees, and key stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent project and programme management capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant project management certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Background in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Risk, COO Office, Transformation, or Project Management is highly desirable.
Languages
- Fluent English and French are required.
- Additional languages are considered an asset.
